"Hoppy for You"

I used SU's Soft Subtle card stock and designer paper, along with "Very Punny" stamp set.

Gratitude II

Here is another copied card.  This one was pretty easy since the larger square punch fit the leaf stamp perfectly.  The band of color didn't scan correctly--it is metallic copper that I embossed with the Big Shot folder.

Except for the actual card (which has small specks of color), I used SU Earth Elements paper and markers.

Gratitude "Thanksgiving"

I copied this one, thinking it was simple and quick. Oh no . . . especially without a recipe.  I didn't give up though.

Using SU's Earth Elements markers and Big Shot texture plate for background and same markers for inking the stamps for the focal image.  The challenge was cutting the four to fit (Garden Green square:  approximately 3 3/4 square).

1st of 3 June Birthdays cards

I used a lot of "tools" to make this card:

  • Stampin' Up! Totally Tools stamp set
  • Stampin' Up! thin-balsa wood "card stock"
  • Cuttlebug embossing plate
  • silver gel pen

May birthdays

This first card actually looks better than it did here.  It was stamped on glossy card stock and decorated with corner punches.

Rooster card

I used a large background stamp for the background;  and a multi-step technique for the focal point:
1) stamp the rooster;
2) mask/cover the image;
3) highlight with the script stamp.

Brother Lou's birthday

I used SU's Taylor Made designer paper;
and the "paper piecing" technique to make the shirt and shorts.

Puffy Velvet Fabric Marker

For the card with the dark-haired lady, I followed the instructions and allowed the ink to dry first.
  1. For the card with the white-haired lady, I applied heat before the ink dried.

Retirement card

For this retirement card I used SU's Classified background stamp.  The highlighted embellishment was done with markers and punched out with the 1 3/8 inch punch, surrounded by a 1 3/4 circle punched from metallic card stock.

Neighborhood Wheel

Looking for "card" ideas . . . this one may work nicely for a Change of Address notice.
