For these cards I used the "Posted for You" stamp set. I think it works well for sending a birthday greeting to either gals or guys, depending on the colors you use. This idea came from a fellow stamper who used multiple layers of contrasting card stock, but I decided to use a sponge to make a contrasting color instead of multiple layers of paper.
I wanted 16 or more of these, so I made one background focal image in black and white on a sheet of good paper and then copied the rest on the printer. After that, I colored each with markers, cut the decorative opening, and used the negative image inside for the message.
I copied this "gift-wrapped" gift card holder idea from someone's YouTube video. She used a large daisy punch and curled each daisy petal toward the center of the flower. I added the little wooden embellishments and the tags.
